The exhibition was officially opened by Minister Eamon Ryan TD on 27 September 2021 at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>The exhibition was developed by the National Museum of Ireland in partnership with Geological Survey Ireland to celebrate 175th\u00a0anniversary of the establishment of Geological Survey Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Exhibits include a large floor map of the geology of Ireland, a reconstruction of one of\u00a0RV Keary,\u00a0new art work depicting\u00a0a cross-section of Dublin from\u00a0Collins Barracks to the sea, and an impressive collection of the minerals we use in our daily lives. The exhibition is suitable for all ages and geological backgrounds.
