This global study aims to take a snapshot of the world’s biodiversity as recorded in lakes and explore how these environments act as reservoirs for these types of records. Sampling of the lake surface waters will be done in partnership with the Lough Carra Life project and the Lough Carra Catchment Association on World Biodiversity Day on Wednesday 22 May 2024.
