Our new Certified Geopark Ambassadors

We recently completed the field session part of the geopark ambassador course for another 3 groups. The region now has 68 people who have completed the course and are now certified Joyce Country and Western Lakes Geopark Ambassador. The field sessions included the visit and interpretation with the geopark’s geologist of some of the region’s geosites that illustrate its geological story and the range of its natural heritage and cultural heritage.
